Zeeshan Khan MD (first name pronounced: ZEE-shahn) is a family physician in our clinic. He has been in practice for more than 17 years in various settings.
He is a graduate of Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his undergraduate degree at State University of New York at Buffalo and Family Medicine Residency at UMDNJ Rutgers University in New Jersey.
In his practice, Dr. Khan is dedicated to treating illnesses with evidence-based methods and also emphasizing the importance of healthy lifestyle choices, stress management, and preventive care. He believes in empowering his patients to make informed decisions for their well-being, blending the latest medical knowledge with time-tested holistic and lifestyle practices. "When I see patients, my main focus is prevention. "Why wait for a disease to happen, why not prevent it" is his philosophy. Dr. Khan believes in maintaining excellent bedside manner, taking time listening to his patients' concerns, and taking individualized approach to patient care, making each and every patient feel special as if he is a close family member.
After years immersed in the insurance-based model, Dr. Khan found himself reflecting on the essence of medical care. The constant rush and pressure to see more patients led him to question whether
this aligns with the compassionate and personalized approach to medicine that initially drew him to this profession. Ultimately, he decided adopt the direct-pay model since this model allows him to
spend more time with each patient, offering personalized attention and comprehensive care. Dr. Khan believes this model aligns perfectly with his commitment to quality, affordable medical
care for everyone.
He speaks Urdu, Hindi, and some Spanish.
