What to expect from us

Office visits:

We rarely run behind; our goal is for the doctor to see you at your appointment time.  We know your time is important too, and we do not want to rush your care.

We operate on an appointment basis, but if you have an urgent issue, please call us.  We can usually accommodate true urgencies the same day.  If you have a life-threatening emergency, call 9-1-1.

Prescription Refills:

The easiest way to request refills is online at our website, but you can also call us. We are usually prompt, but please allow up to 2 business days for them to be done.

Voicemail messages:

If you leave a message during our normal hours, we will normally call you back the same day--as soon as we are able.

Emails:

Please allow up to one business day for a response.   We will not send details about your medical care via regular (unsecured) email unless you tell us we can.

What we expect from you

Office visits:

Please be on time; we ask our patients to show up at least 15 minutes before their appointment times so we have time to get them ready to see the doctor at their appointment time.  We rarely run behind.  If you are too late, you may be asked to reschedule.

No shows are very disruptive to us and are unfair to other patients waiting for an appointment.

Not coming to an appointment and not cancelling prior to an appointment (no-show) may result in a no-show fee being charged.

Please be kind and cancel ahead of time if unable to make it to an appointment(The easiest is to cancel from your confirmation email.)

Identification:

If you are a new patient, please bring a picture ID.  We do not need proof of insurance.

Payment:

Be sure to bring a form of payment to your visits (cash, check, or credit card); we expect payment at the time of service.

Medications:

If you are on any medications, including vitamins, supplements and herbal medications, please bring a written list of them to each office visit (even if you have come before).  It is extremely important for us to verify your medications, and we do this every time you come in.
