Our direct-pay, family medicine clinic is looking for a full-time or part-time family physician who shares our philosophy, who is comfortable with the full scope of outpatient family medicine, and who wants to practice in a direct-pay model. Partnership possible.
We are a direct-pay clinic; that means we bill patients directly (at time of service) and do not participate with any insurance or third-party payer, private or government. We think that being direct-pay is the best way for us to provide excellent and affordable medical care.
Our practice is exclusively outpatient; we currently provide no in-patient care and don’t deliver babies. As a typical family medicine clinic, we provide a full range of primary care for all ages, including treatment of injuries, illnesses, and chronic diseases. We manage pediatric, adult, women’s health, and geriatric issues. We offer a variety of office procedures. We find that by providing comprehensive outpatient care, we can often avoid the need for ER visits, hospitalizations, and even many referrals to specialists.
Candidate must have appropriate training and experience; specialty board certification is not required. An unrestricted Texas license and DEA registration are required. BLS certification is required.
About our location: Magnolia is in a growing area of the greater Houston region. It maintains its small-town charm yet offers the convenience of nearby shopping, restaurants, and entertainment.
Hours: Full-time (36 patient contact hours a week plus a rotation of Saturdays; part-time is an option)
Call: A rotation of call coverage (phone)
Pay: Annual salary plus productivity bonus
Benefits: Paid malpractice coverage. Reimbursement for license, CME, and other professional expenses. 4 weeks paid time off, plus holidays.
