Injuries

We treat most minor injuries, including lacerations and fractures, strains, and sprains.

For lacerations, we can do stitches, skin glue, or staples.

For musculoskeletal injuries, including fractures (broken bones), strains, and sprains, we can place splints and casts.

Often people think they must see orthopedics for a fracture.  While some fractures do require orthopedic care and even surgery, most fractures can be managed simply with splinting and casting.  Xrays, when needed, are easily arranged at nearby facilities.

See how we place a cast for a common wrist fracture.
